OK, so I installed Vista 32 on my Kids PC, had a little problem with the AGP 6600 card but it got resolved (*). I have done all the vista updates and everything is working fine.
I installed some other software like Avast Pro Anti Virus, Itunes, CCleaner, etc, etc. Everything good so far. Went ahead and setup the parental control for both my 2 kids's login.
After that, when I go to one of their logins, Vista starts with pop-ups that it is blocking AVAST and other apps from starting in their logins.
I thought that once I install something on my end (Running as Admin of course), that it would be a given that the other logins will have that installed as well. If the Anti Virus is going to be block on their login... what is the good in that?
Also, the naggin pop up you get when Anti Virus is not running poppped up on their logins as well.
I went back to the Parental controls and allowed everything that had to do with AVAST AV but I still got the Vista nag about AV not working.
I use Vista x64 but only with 1 login (me), I don't want to go back to XP but, is there an easier way to install something and make it work with other login that are not admin users?
(*) For those of you wanting to know, the AGP 6600 and Newer drivers don't seem to be compatible with Vista, perhaps because of the PhysX drivers, who knows, the bottom line is that it was giving me fits with the 181.22 drivers (error code43) & BSOD when starting and it was not until I rolled back to the 169.25 drivers that everything went away.
