Solved Internet explorer has stopped working....

Hi Jacee, I have only just had the time to re run the scan and it still came back with no threats found and it did not have any List of threats found button so could not save any log. I am sure that is why I did not do it last time either which is why I run it again just to check and no such button listed...Just said no threats found and tick button to uninstall on close.

Download Security Check by screen317 from here http://screen317.spywareinfoforum.org/SecurityCheck.exe or here http://screen317.changelog.fr/SecurityCheck.exe
Save it to your Desktop.
Double click SecurityCheck.exe and follow the onscreen instructions inside of the black box.
A Notepad document should open automatically called checkup.txt.
Please post the contents of that document.

Download CKScanner from here http://downloads.malwareremoval.com/CKScanner.exe
Save it to your desktop. <=== IMPORTANT
Doubleclick CKScanner.exe and click Search For Files.
After a very short time, when the cursor hourglass disappears, click Save List To File.
A message box will verify that the file is saved.
Double-click the CKFiles.txt icon on your desktop and copy/paste the contents in your next reply.

Well I'm not sure if we're discussing Vista or Windows 7 now

McAfee Security Scan Plus came in when you updated Adobe ... you apparently didn't uncheck the box to download it to your computer.
Uninstall it using Program and Features in the Control Panel.

Three anti-virus programs:
avast! Free Antivirus
McAfee Security Scan Plus
Microsoft Security Essentials

These are resource hogs and will compete for your system's resources! They may also fight each others definition files. Please use only *one* realtime Anti-virus program. Uninstall two of the above. (your choice)

Oh ye I have reposted it on the 7 forum, I posted it on here cos of my sons vista computer too at time :-) Anyhow I have took two off as you suggested and kept Avast but still keep getting the same message continuously....driving me made now..

thought I would update this...sorry forgot to do it.......It turned out to be a program called Rapport so all I do is disable it until I need it that way I do not keep getting the popup signs......So glad I got it sorted
