Internet Explorer & Firefox

Hi, I am using firefox 3.6.3 and internet explorer 8. for firefox i am using gmail as my client, i also have windows live mail for internet explore,the question i am asking is this. I want to scrap windows live mail and use outlook 2007,is it possible? i have not set it up yet as i am unsure if it will work with internet explorer?i do not like live mail so i want to change..can someone please help me.Thank you. Firefox and IE do not care which email client you use. You can use any email program you like.

You can mix them up anyway you like. Browsers have nothing to do with email unless you use web based mail and even then whichever browser you use doesn't matter.
