intel ssd drive update problem .big

i have a problem updating the farmware or driver on all the update i try to do .
so how do you do that .
do you need a program for them to update .
i download the driver .save it on my desktop .then when i click on it i get a popup screen .

this here .
since i been trying to update bios .driver .etc.etc.this is what i get every time

so what program do i need for them to work .
there some thing that have to make them to install .

Yha it has to be done through a bootable cd.

You've downloaded an iso file4, which is a cd/dvd image

Well the iso is a disk image and it needs to be put onto a cd or dvd disk.... Or a usb drive

got what .well i keep reading on all kind of forums and they all say [UPDATE THIS UPDATE THAT ]this is why i ask .
i had about 12 brand new computer and i never had any problem with them with out updating any thing .

i just finish putting in a brand cpu [fx 4 core ]i remove the althon-ii 260 .they are really good cpu but i wanted to try a 4 core just to see
the fx that i put in was a 8 core but they desable 4 cores .so the cpu have a turbo to over clock it .???????.this computer is only about 2 weeks old .lol .
now i have 3 brand new pc .again .lol

i get some from asus .some from intel .etc.etc ..
my mobo is a asus board .
but i will tell you one thing i did set up a asrock in one of my new computer and i like it a lot more then the asus board .
asus have a lot of tuning chit but if you download [turbo evo ]you are done .you cant not uninstall the them thing no way .
the only thing that is good about some of the asus some have 2 swicht then if you turn them on one will over clock your cpu but only work on a cpu that have more core that do not show .
just like the athlon 455 11 x3 core is was a 4 core when they build it but because on some of them one core did not work .so they did not wanted to buid a new one so the call it a 3 core but on 90 % of them the four core is working so it will over clock it to 4 cores phenom 4 i know i have one .well i did buy 2 of them so far .now i a 455 and a 450

but any way i boot in 34 secs on my 2 cores using vista .
it is very fast for vista .
now i will see if i gain any thing with my 4 core .
i be very surprise if i boot faster

wel that new 6 core is no good for nothing to me .
it take me about 10 secs more to boot in with it .
with my athlon x2 -2 core i was boothing in about 34 secs .
now with that 4 core fx 4100 x4 it 43 to 46 secs .not no impress with it
so i thing that i will take it right out of there .
or i get the athlon x3 core then over clock it to phenom 4 cores .my asus board to that triple core
way faster then that fx

You need to look at core speed. Most hings only use 1 core, so haveing 2 fast ones is better than 6 medium ones.

But if a program uses more than 2 cores, the medium 6 one beats the fast 2's.

it boot slower but it is really fast downloading page .
well to my eye anyway .
i was reasing not to long ago that a [AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition Deneb 3.4GHz Socket AM3 125W Quad-Core Processor]this is a 6 core but it is sold has a 4 core .so you could over clock it at 6 no problem .
there is a lot of cpu that are sold under of what they really have [core].
but i guess it to late now .
maybe next month i buy it
