I truly deeply dislike the uac...

Ah, using the .reg file method. I am doing a copy of the folder I did this to, to see what happens..

That worked. I copied the entire folder over from the WinXP hard usb case to the Vista hard drive. No demands for permision, etc.

Sorry, I didn't track the amount of time, But the 19,000 files around 3 gigabytes went in less than an hour.
