I need some help!

The taskbar has shrunken

So has the window border on the top right of a window (consisting of the minimize,maximize, and exit button).

Umm... your task bar looks just like mine which is just fine. Did you change your resolution?

No, I didn't mess with the resolution. I just switched back to the Vista theme from some other theme I was using, and the taskbar looks smaller, along with the window border.

I am unable to see the difference in size of the Task bar.

Yeah, looks like you just changed to a higher resolution and you just arent used to it, which switching themes in vista can do this if you had it set to a lower res. (which makes things bigger). Right click on your desktop, click personalize, then display settings from the list. You'll see a slider bar, try a few different resolutions(set the slider then hit apply) until you get the right size it used to be. The reason lemur doesn't see a difference is because his resolution, being a techie, is probably set to it's highest setting, for preference or his is default like yours, which yours has been defaulted from the theme switch.

The screen shots are different resolutions as has ben mentioned.
What is the native resolution of your monitor? The monitor resolution should be the one you use.
