Foolishly, I deleted the automatic restore points that Vista had set up. How can I recover or restore those scheduled automatic restore points? Thanks.

No, I misstated my problem. Vista had been set up to create automatic restore points. In the task scheduler, I deleted those scheduled tasks. How to I recreate the scheduled tasks to create restore points daily as they had been set up before? Thanks.

Thanks again. I've tried that but get stumped when it asks me for an action to perform. What program do I browse to to create the restore point?

Created a restore point thru Programs/Accessories/System Tools/System Restore successfully and now I see that automatic restore points will be created daily. Thanks for your help.

Great, wait a few days to be sure that they are being created.
