The Vista DVD can be defective.
Try with Windows 7. If it boots you can format and install. Use the information that I gave you to install
If it does not boot, then you will be inside the OS (Windows),just stop at that point ant tell us what hapened.
Dont rush take your time. It easy, if you understand
Why not go to you tube and watch how its done, too.
When you install, you will get to the point that says do you want to custom install or upgrade. You click on advanced. In advanced you are given the chance to format.
You can avoid this step if you formatted using the Opimize tutorial.
i do have 1 more prob that hasnt been fixed yet. about 3/4 times when i restart the computer my monitor says "no signal". the other 1/4 of the time, it shows the bios and all that and boots up fine. was very annoying while i was trying to install 7. i have a 32" insignia lcd tv as my monitor. any idea what it could be?
today i woke up and my computer had an orange light instead of green on its power button.... now i cannot get ANY monitor to work and it just reads no signal.
