Iam wanting help with flashing BIOS on my Acer Aspire 5051,
im using Vista64 and would like to update the BIOS as theres over 50 fixes for it - im not having any problems but would like to update it - im wondering if anyone can help me create a bootable disc/usb-stick with a backup on and flash program so that if an upgrade goes wrong I can re-flash with another firmware from my USB stick or CD...
can anyone help with this?
I also think that Vista64 will prevent any flashing from within windows so Im willing to install XP on another partition just to be able to flash from
any help/advice is greatly appreciated
