OK - I'll work on a fix for those (shouldn't take too long!)

I've put a file (Ezard.zip) up on my SkyDrive - at
https://skydrive.live.com/#cid=936736BB8FCEB92F&id=936736BB8FCEB92F%21526

Please download and save it, then right-click on the saved file and extract the .reg file.
right-click on teh extracted file, and select Merge.
Accept the warnings.
You should get a 'Success' message.
reboot.
now try Windows Update.
Run another FarBar report, and post it.

I've disabled the Windefender service - because that's the most common configuration once a decent AV is installed (which AV are you using??)

Sorry it has taken me so long to reply i have been away for a few days. Your .reg file worked perfectly all components of windows are now working correctly and i have been able to update thank you very much for your help
