I had a copy of Windows 7 for the 30 day trial period and it has run out and im going to purchase it, but not as of now so i want to install vista back on my computer for the time being. I have the key for vista home premium because it is on the bottom of my computer but i cant find a place on microsoft/asus support that i can download the files for the installation. thanks

Most manufacturers put a recovery partition on new computers. If you have erased that and not backed it up, you can contact the manufacturer for disks at a nominal charge for S&H.
