Help Pls!! Have internet connnection BUT can't access internet

Sorry for the delayed response, we're still with you. Try doing this please:

OTL

Download OTL to your desktop.
Double click on the icon to run it. Make sure all other windows are closed to let it run uninterrupted.
When the window appears, underneath Output at the top change it to Minimal Output.
Under the Standard Registry box change it to All.
Check the boxes beside LOP Check and Purity Check.
Click the Run Scan button. Do not change any settings unless otherwise told to do so. The scan wont take long.
When the scan completes, it will open two notepad windows. OTL.Txt and Extras.Txt. These are saved in the same location as OTL.
Please copy (Edit->Select All, Edit->Copy) the contents of these files, one at a time, and post it with your next reply.

Do NOT put anything in the Custom Scans/Fixes box

I can't see anything wrong in your OTL log :) Yes, that was going to be my next suggestion, give that a go and let us know if it works.

Hi Tom,

The services tab I can't get a full screen shot of the whole page. It's basically scrolls down. My friend told me that the registry cleaner i used might've caused this problem. Something about WINSOCK?

A registry cleaner may have caused this, you really shouldn't be using one - most of the time they will do far more damage than good :(

Hi There,

Did you try to boot into the computer using Safe Mode. If not please restart the computer and start tapping the F8 key on the keyboad.
Next you will get advaced boot options. Please select Safe Mode with Networking from the list and once you are in the desktop, check if you are able to connect to the internet. If you are able to connect let me know.

Thanks

I believe its a Wireless connection that you are trying to connect to. Did you check if the Ip and Dns has been forced for the IP V4 properties?
