Help... ATI drivers...

Hello. I'm new at Vista, just like as in this forum. Yesterday I installed Windows Vista, and installed ATI drivers for my ATI Radeon X850XT. The install went well, and then followed the reboot. And when I logged in, ATI showed this error:

Maybe someone can help me? Because I don't want to go back on XP. ;]

try this driver:

64bitdrivers.com:: ATI Catalyst 7.10 WHQL for Vista x64

it sounds like you tried to either install a 32bit driver on your system OR you've got the hardware acceleration disabled. Thats a common problem with ATI - check the display settings and find where hardware acceleration is listed. Make sure its full speed!

If I'd understod right it is in troubleshoot, then yes, hardware acceleration is at Full. And I think 32-bit drivers couldn't be the problem, becouse in ati.com I marked Vista 64-bit.

Btw, when I download that file, its size is 0kb and I can't open it. If it's diferent from the ATI.com web, maybe someone can upload it somewhere else?

I`m not sure what else to suggest - I remember having a similar problem with non-64bit drivers from ATI on windows xp some years ago but I can't remember what I did to fix it. I`ll do a bit of research and see if I can come up with a solution for you shortly.
