I'll probably be buying the 5870 if its released within 2 months. Otherwise I'll get the 4890 and upgrade later. I thought I never would but I'll probably be switching to ATI. They tend to support the newer technologies (DirectX 10.1) and are usually cheaper than an NVIDIA equivalent.

Crysis isn't the only game anyway.

but isn't that the same logic when the 4870x2 was the fastest card? then all of a nvidia released their gt280/285/295? someone's technology is always going to be "behind" until both companies release their product at the same time. right?
