Having trouble with jscript

i have been having trouble with my media player,i have windows vista 32-bit, i have to reinstall jscript for the media player if i shutdomn my pc,the media player was a factory program, so i decided to uninstall media player and install it, but when i click on, launch the software reinstaller program, i have this windows script host popup box can anybody advise thank you.patch41
