Happy Hols to all

I don't know what it is but the presents side of Christmas just does'nt have the same enthusiasm anymore, maybe its my age now, but for the last few years I have looked more forward to the Christmas Dinner than anything else, not that I am a big eater either, I'm not, but I do love my Mums dinner.

Agree. On the other hand, I do like things with a cord attached to it, or batteries, but I never get that. I am becoming an expensive kid, I guess. Dinner, yes, that's the best part, yet right now, it feels I got a bit too much.

Will sleep well tomorrow morning.

And to you Norm :D

yes had I taken more time to think about that I would have said that it is really for kids, but bearing in mind also that its a time for as you say doing things, tpyical me not thinking lol

I am having to do alot more this year as my Mum is not great, aches and pains, so I am indeed doing my best to help her, and we've always had quiet Christmas's since my Father passed away, but even when he was here, it was pretty quiet, apart from the odd argument that I start, I know how to pick my moments sadly :(

Only family we have are all in Germany, all my Aunts and Uncles are gone from the UK, so we have no-one here to be with, as the song goes "Just the two of us........":D

I know where your coming from on that Submarine, but as far as things like that go, my Mum won't buy anything like that, she hates the PC and everything I have for it, as its not her thing, so instead to try to get me away from it, she nags me about all the DVD's I have, and I keep saying "yes I will watch them" but never do, but seriously this year I hope to get stuck in to my old childhood stuff, Voyage to the bottom of the Sea being just one of the many DVD's I have :D

Chris ;)

Spent 8 hours from 5am, in 33°C+, and brilliant sunshine, flogging off 3.5 tonnes of Party Ice in 4kg and 10kg bags, to the local populace.

I'm knackered! But the beer didn't even touch the sides, and vapourisation only ceased after the first three.:p

We had a nice Christmas day, quiet but nice. My daughter and her husband came for dinner with my grandson who's 7 months old so doesn't really understand yet plus he's been a bit poorly.

This is the first chance I've had to use my own computer as they've been checking their emails accounts online and of course I've been busy getting the food ready.

A couple of my presents have really made my day, they bought me a digital photo frame which I've been wanting for ages and the other one even though I don't really need one when they saw it they couldn't resist getting it for me. It's a perpetual calender jigsaw magnetic mouse mat, I have an optical mouse so don't need a mouse mat but my mouse loves it :geek:

My son phoned me from Scotland and we asked what the weather was like up there and he said 6° and they've had 3 days of snow whereas here it's been really nice the sun even came out this afternoon not your typical December at all
