I'm not one for really getting into a jolly spirit, but I did want to post this so that I don't get considered as a miserable old sod, so this is my greeting to all the friends I've made and the ones I have'nt

Please also accept this as meaning for the New Year as I do not enjoy New Years Eve, makes me cry actually, still I'm odd so there lol

Well my Christmas presents part is over, as of this afternoon, its not that I could'nt wait as I knew what I was getting but as my Mum is German they open their presents on Christmas Eve, well they did when I was small, I take it its still the same?

I know that some might say and think "You live in England, so why?" but to that I say its me and my Mums choice and we like it that way :D

I don't mean to start a huge debate about it, its just how we like it........had my Father still been around it would have been different, but more than that, as Christmas Day is the day of the big dinner so to speak, and other things going on it can get rushed so Christmas Eve is a good time for us.

Don't know why I am saying this, but anyway, hope you all get what you wish for!!

I don't know what it is but the presents side of Christmas just does'nt have the same enthusiasm anymore, maybe its my age now, but for the last few years I have looked more forward to the Christmas Dinner than anything else, not that I am a big eater either, I'm not, but I do love my Mums dinner.

Chris, as you get older you realise Christmas is for Kids. But, it's also about doing something, sharing with friends and familly. Seems to me you are doing your bit. Merry Christmas mate.
