full recycle bin symbol

hi guys,im in need some help.... i recently deleted about 4 files from my recycle bin but the bin symbol is still saying its full, clicked on it again, and its empty, but symbol is still full. so run virus scan (avg) and no probs found. any ideas y this is happenig?

Try right clicking on the icon and hitting empty bin....

You can replace or make recycle bin work properly.

When this happens to me, I just create a folder or file on the desktop and delete them and then empty the recycle bin and that refreshes it.

Neverhavemoney, it didnt work m8, it does empty when i restart my laptop. any other ideas? p***ing me off abit lol
