Hi,

I'm having some installation problems with vista. So i'm here hoping someone will help me out the mess..

So when i tried to install the os, i got an error lik this "failed to create partition on selected unused space. Error: 0*80042453". I have no idea how to proceed further. I read some posts of the guys having the same problem but they did't help much.

thank you for the reply. I did as said in the link. I entered the command window and typed diskpart enter and listdisk enter but it was blank. hdd was not detected.

what I think You likely to need a driver to support the hdd's connection to the motherboard. Seems like it's not being read correctly. Download the appropriate one from the web site of the product manufacturer and feed it from disk or flash drive at the point of setup where the drives are detected and selected.

Just go to the given below link, choose your model and download HDD driver.

I have installed ubuntu linux 11.04. It works fine till now. Thank you for the support guys
