I want to migrate to a larger hard drive. I can copy the boot partition to the new hard drive successfully, but can not enlarge it to the larger disk size. Help.

You can copy but still need a drive partitioning tool in order to expand or shrink an existing partition. If you are using a disk imaging software the best results are seen when transferring onto an identical drive. On a new larger drive you would generally create a brand new primary and then make a backup image from that later.

I have purchased Paragon's Partition Manager 9.0 and also Spotmau 2009. Neither one can enlarge the boot partition on a Vista 64 machine. Neither can window's "Boot Manager" function.

I would suggest going for GParted live instead since the partitions are still NTFS since only the kernel is 64bit in Windows. GParted is cross platform for various OSs besides Linux and Windows as well. The latest stable not beta 0.4.1-2 release is seen at SourceForge.net: GParted: Files

Thank you very much. GParted did the trick as advertised. Also, Paragon Hard Disk Manager Suite 2009 is reported to be able to do everything I needed as well.

Whether it's 64bit or a 32bit edition of Windows the partition itself still remains the same. You'll find that GParted is a very versatile tool there and doesn't run into any software issues since you boot with it live.
