ISTR that there was a GreaseMonkey script out there that would animate an animated icon only through one loop and then stop it. Either it was for GreaseMonkey or IE 7Pro - could that be it?

Well I'm having no problems seeing everyones animated avatars and I've not done anything different. I did follow the link with regards that flash storage post we had and unchecked the one about 3rd party storage.

Something is definitely amiss....It's the Avatar again......your wee blue mouse has gone missing, it is no more, is noted by it's absence, it has gone AWOL, has taken a bunk, a flit.....

I've just noticed the inactivity in one of your posts on another thread, and ripped back here to check it out.

johngalt, barman58, smarteyeball.....theirs are all in A1 condition. In yours however, wee blue mouse is just small puffs of departing dust. How sad . I like the little critter and want to see him back. He was there this morning [my time = 15 hours ago], running around like a mad fury...

Very strange. He is still here on my machine, full of life and vigour. Are you using FireFox, by the way? Aaron was having problems with it in FF (see earlier in the thread for more details). Failing that, have you run out of cheese? I have sent another member of his family to investigate:

I edited the flash storage and I'm using IE.

Thank-goodness for that! I'd feared that you had done the wee critter in ! Now Arfer [my pet Rat (for real)] and I can visit him every day, and feed him sunflower seeds, apple, pasta, mango and other goodies!!:D

So how come all the others, including Norm's rotating 'roo, all animate, and not yours?

And yes, I too am a recent convertee to the Den of FireFox 3, but will now back-track on the thread for a read of previous posts.

I was also using Win7 with FF, perhaps the two have some problem with flash.
