Hi Aaron,

Very strange. The avatar looks OK though. It's just a still from towards the end of the animation, possibly the last frame. The image below shows the same image, probably a couple of frames earlier on, but you can see the likeness.

One thing is puzzling me, though. Comparing your image to mine, yours is the wrong way round with the avatar underneath instead of on top like mine.

Yes, this is what I thought it kinda looked like. The end frame of the animation. But what I see is just that.. the stactic image of the last frame. I don't see the mouse and nothing is animated. Am I just seeing this and you're seeing the full animation?

As to my image being on the bottom and your on top.... I took the snippet from the Vista x64 net forum view which shows it on the bottom and in the windows 7 fixed view it's on top like you're seeing it. But the image is the same in either View.

I have just gone through all the available skins and it displays OK on each one. Thanks for solving the image position puzzle for me - I hadn't thought of that.
I have attached my avatar to this post. What does it show like?

Oh, my apologies Dwarf. It's me. I was viewing it from firefox and I checked in IE and it worked. I checked my adobe flash player plugin in firefox and it had been working and had no notices anything was wrong with it but I reinstalled it and now it's working. Also, I'm in Win7 so maybe something went wrong with the flash player in FF. I apologize. Very embarrassing, LOL.

Not to worry, Aaron. I'm glad that you have managed to solve your problem. As for beeing embarrassed, don't worry about it. I've seen a fair few posts where even John and Shawn were emabarrassed.

Yeah, something weird is happening with my FF flash plugin. All of a sudden it stopped working again, so I disabled the plugin, closed and reopened FF and it worked with the plugin disabled. And I re enabled it and it works as well. I'm confused.

Check your other extensions *and* your anti-malware programs - perhaps one of them is automatically blocking Flash....

Here's something else that is perplexing. Viewing my Contacts & Friends in my User CP, I see that 1 of the images is animated (barman58). There are 3 others who have animated images, viz .joe, johngalt & skunksmash, yet none of these are showing as animated there. They do show up animated normally in posts, though. In fact, barman58 has the only avatar that seems to be able to do this, and I have checked the Public Profile/Contacts & Friends section of a selection of mine. My avatar, which you can see from my posts, is animated yet appears as a static image in those lists.

I believe I found the answer to my idiocy...John got me thinking, the only thing I did was tweak with that website storage settings panel from that post of echradas' about Adobe flash cookies in the Seven forum yesterday. I inadvertently unchecked the Allow third party flash content to be store data on your computer. What a blunder. LMAO.

Um I'd like to think it's cause "I'm Special" but it is more likely to do with size (of avatar ) mine is a fair bit smaller that the others (titter not at the back there :D) - could it be that?
