DVI-I Monitor

I think it may be a card issue/monitor issue instead of a software issue.

It's likely a problem with the card's BIOS, specially the output table. It was assigned the wrong BIOS where its routing the video sync to the VGA output no matter what connector type is attached, that would explain why a DVI to VGA converter works. I don't know who the manufacture of the card dis though, so I can't even begin to try and fix it. And even if I did, it's unlikely there's an update for it.
