Wow. I totally forgot to reply....

Anyways... So I guess I kind of don't care how to fix this. I am planning on a Reinstall when I get my new HDD (1tb) and will just reinstall everything.

I do have another problem (I think they are linked, but don't know for sure). When I start up, it has now dropped to almost 4 minutes (just a guess) and log in takes about 5. After I enter in my password it just sits on a black screen for almost two minutes before attempting to load. I am at a loss as to what is causing this.

Once again, it will all be fixed with the reinstall, but am curious as to the cause...

I had a blue ray DVD just laying in the ROM drive and that caused a delay when booting up. I have no idea why but I don't leave any BD DVD's in anymore. Just a thought. The bios kept reverting to the third boot device as the CDROM

Have you looked at a hard restart and then get the windows has stopped unexpected screen, system will reboot in 27 seconds...or close to that time? Allow the system to restart normally in the countdown. Just hit the power on button and hold it. I have found that this worked when I was having the same problem. It seams like something in the registry is hanging up then clears when the system reboots this way. I am sorry I can't explain the technical aspects as to why but I have found it works. Sort of beat it with a hammer to calibrate it mentality I know but what the heck if it works. This may be something totally different from what you have as a problem but I have also had the same problem and found that it worked more then two times. Since the new memory has been installed I have not seen one glitch so maby there is some sort of issue with the memory and the settings of the memory trhat has been over looked.

Alright, update on the sit.

I went into MSConfig, and hit "Diagnostic Boot" which started it up only with essential drivers. The error was gone, and it logged in in about 10 secs as opposed to one minute.

So obviously the error is in the startup services, but where?
Also, do you know how to enable Aero from MSConfig? The diagnostic boot looked like crap but it worked. I want to use that to set things to start up with, and hope to bypass the error.

Does anyone have a list of what all the startup services do? All the Microsoft ones I mean.

Still haven't gotten it fixed, but my new HDD (1TB) should get here today or tomorrow, and a reinstall is in order. That should fix it all.

in "msconfig" go to tools and scroll down to programs. Once opened all the programs you have access to will be listed for you to select. I think that is what you were asking me about.

No, I meant the description of turning off the computer and hard resetting it or something.

I said that as a joke, I knew that it was not real. I meant could I get a real permit for that... :|

Anyways, I did try the MSConfig, and as I said before, if I do the diagnostic boot, then it works perfectly, but I haven't had time to disable everything one by one yet...

This going to sound funny. The way to do a hard reboot is to simply turn the power button off so that windows does not shut down normally. This causes the computer to automatically go to the screen that allows you to select how you want to boot up. Just let the computer run the regular timed delay reboot. Once the PC boots back up the problem I had was fixed. Have you looked in the performance area for the msconfig?

Oh thats what you meant. I thought you wanted me to do some special thing. No, I have not tried that. I will check out the performance log though.

When I start up my computer and log in, I am greeted with this:

Do you (did you?) have RealTemp installed? I've had it installed for ages without an issue, and (presumably) after some change, a dialogue with the RealTemp icon appears on startup with the text in the title (from memory):

Driver Not Loaded, Try Running As Administrator

If you have RealTemp installed, that might be the cause.
