Drag and drop pictures with Firefox

I'm trying to get some pictures off the internet onto a MS Word (2007) document. But when I try to drop an image in the document, it pastes the link instead of the actual picture. I know I could just do a Save Picture as, or Copy Image instead, but that's a little too time-consuming (haha) for me. I know there's got to be a way to drop an image into word from Firefox, but I don't know if it's an option I need to change in Firefox or Word. Dropping files into Explorer works just fine. How can I get it to work properly with Word?
