The big deal is if the SP2 contains all updates after SP2 since one can no longer install them normally. If you want that, I think you would have to get the ISO from S1W2 in that thread.

Well, i think i might have seen a thread about a direct SP2 download around here. I'll go ahead and read up on it.

The old Download Center links don’t work anymore, but SP1 and SP2 can still be found at this Microsoft Update Catalog link.
