Does SP1 allow use of 4gb RAM?

Remove the battery before you install the RAM.

Sometimes it won't be readily apparent that both sticks fit. You may find that you have to raise the dimm slots upwards in order to expose and access the second slot underneath the first? No biggie, there isn't much pressure holding them down, so gentle fingertips will suffice to lift them up. If this isn't the case for you, even better.
