Apparently they believe the Earth is flat, and the photos showing the curvature are optical illusions.

since no one has actually fallen off the edge of earth, even ships travelling around the world everyday. i concur that the earth must be round, just shows that people will believe in anything, look at religion lol :D

I think people can believe in anything - as long as they do not try to impose that belief on others. Unfortunately it is the latter that gives cause for concern.

very true, Darwin's laws of Evolution should be scrapped..... they have been under scrutiny for a good few years now yet it remains in books being fed to our kids.

As I said, believe in anything you like. But do not expect people to believe the theories of the creationists (which by the way seem to be only roaming in the US). Someone who tells me that the universe is 6 or 7 thousand years old should have his brain examined.

umm.... the alternative has no flaws... lets take a look at DNA for example...... the complexity of DNA is so great that NO random process could have created it, it had to thought out by a intelligent creator.
when you look at a computer you don't say "oh that was a bunch of plastic and metal that was shaken up and thats where it came from"
you know it was created. and even the most simple cell in life..... is extremely far from simple and DIDN"T happen by chance.

Then who designed the ones that designed us? Eventually you reach a point in the universe where there has to be no life and evoution is the best theory i know of that explains how life could have stared somewhere...

You see evolution happening all around the planet in plants and animals and who knows maybe something did create life on earth but they are long gone and certainly are no GOD's. Why would they create disease's, animals that can kill us, watch as wars and crimes happen and do nothing ?

But anyway the worlds round in my opininion :D
