Data (F:)

Yes, define a folder on F: and then direct the installation towards that folder. Make sure you watch out during the installation process because else it will end up in your current folder.

NEVER back up anything onto F: unless you know absolutely that this is a separate hard drive, rather than a partition on the same drive, which will not help you at all if the hard drive crashes.

Having an F: partition is just a way to keep Windows+programs separate from data, so that you can reformat C: to reinstall your OS or put a different one on without erasing all of your files.

Stickers, lots of stickers, all over the place, even some AMD and Apple stickers just because I had them.
I tried to install the sims 3 to D: drive, I selected a custom install and sent it to F: drive "my documents". It seemed to work just fine except it still installed content to my C: drive. The file installed was the ones I need for my custom content and game saves. Is there a way around this? Or should I give up now?
