Sounds like you haven't opened a command prompt or searched for winver recently.

Perhaps I shouldn't have deleted so many of my own posts in a futile effort to hold this thread to one page in length. (Too bad the OP of a thread can't delete the posts of others in the interest of readability and topicality. Reading page 1 from top to bottom would be a waste of time.)

If anyone is concerned about BlueKeep but would rather not install any Windows patches that are less than 2 years old (perhaps because Windows Update might no longer be able to perform its task of delivering nothing to Vista), see page 1, post #15 for the only recommended mitigation.

You mean your computer hasn't exploded yet!?? Just kidding of course. I'm fairly confident that there is no issue with your Norton because of a post I saw at AskWoody. IMO the one thing you should look out for is old programs that no longer function properly on your newfangled Windows 6.0.6003. If you find one, I would be interested in knowing about it.

As mentioned in post #1, the April build number change was a major issue for those using Avast/AVG 18.8, but Avast issued a micro-update on June 4 that resolved the issue. Cheers to Avast: The company that supported Windows 6.0 even after they had ended support for Windows 6.0. And I am practicing what I preach by using Avast 18.8 on Vista these days.

The resurrection of this thread inspired me to search for recent news about BlueKeep. Microsoft's Detection and Response Team has an August 8 post that I just read for the first time, Protect against BlueKeep, and the Australian Government has an August 12 post.
