Crashes at character creation screens.

Well, I just did some testing of my own. I shut down my computer last night and just turned it back on. I checked the event viewer and I have ALL of the exact same errors even after a regular computer shut down, except for the one that said "there was an unexpected shut down at blah blah blah." So, I forced the computer to crash again... which wasn't hard to do... and after restart, I got the same errors as before on crash. Sooo, that windows firewall and other errors have nothing to do with it crashing me thinks.

Also, I ran malwarebytes. No malicious spyware detected.

Hmm ok. Thanks for all the help! It's been a problem for nearly 2 years now... I've tried sooo many things and still can't figure it out. Hence why I thought it was a vista problem.

I did not give up. But running out of ideas. We used the article, did memory test. Checked overheating.

Hmm, so I'm assuming that last post that was put up here was spam / trojan / key logger? I did not try it, as tempting as it sounded, because I couldn't replicate the problem/fix he mentioned by unplugging my power supply to get the game to load completely. Guess it was removed from the post?
