Copy and Paste

I am trying to copy a picture from my Pictures folder to Notepad, after copying the picture and right click on the Notepad the paste function is greyed out.
Could someone tell how to enable pasting.Thank you.

Notepad does not support pictures files like does Word

Thank you Sidney1st for the prompt reply, I found another utility "Document-Wordpad" under Accessories which can be used for copying pictures. Thanks again.
