Cooling Laptops

Hi users,

I just want to know the best way to cool down my computer as it gets extremly hot all the time, I do blow the dust out of the fan, It is a brand new computer and I have a feeling the Motherboard and some other components are touching the base of the laptop inside as it is getting to hot, I mean you could probably fry a egg on there.

Are all the fans working ok ?, also you may want to download SpeedFan and take a look at what the temps really are. (link below).

I use a chill mat (also called cool pad) like this one ( Targus - Laptop Chill Mat - Gray - PA248U1 ). Works really well.

Thanks the tempretures are:

HDD 39C
Temp1: 64C
Temp2: 69C
Core0: 58C
Core1: 56C

It could not gather information on DIMMS because I have a ASUS Motherboard.
I have done futher investigation into it and heres what i found:

Scanning SMBus at $1C20...
Decoding DIMM #0
Memory type is DDR2
Module Ranks : 2
Levels : 1.8V
Parity : NO PARITY
Refresh Rate : 7.8us
Total Size : 2048MB
Decoding DIMM #2
Memory type is DDR2
Module Ranks : 2
Levels : 1.8V
Parity : NO PARITY
Refresh Rate : 7.8us
Total Size : 1024MB

And I have took another look at the temps and this is what came up:

If they are load temps then they are not to bad, on a laptop they can go as high as 80C if not higher under load.
As you know there is not a lot of room in a laptop so they tend to run hotter than a desktop, if you are concerned about the temps you could get a cooling mat, but i have to say, if it was me i would be happy with these temps.

those temp seems pretty decent. mine gets up till 75C when its load. esp when running far cry 2. already add a cooler pad. still doesn't help much. only drop around 2-3C.
