Funny But I recall my first modem it was 300 baud. It was for my C64. I had to call BBS to play games and things. That was back when Delphi,AOL,Prodegy and Oracal where Major Pay services. My first Time on the Real net was in 1994. I used a Amiga 1,000 and a 2400 baud modem. The program I used to view the net was MUI and on the Amiga if you did not flush out the cash evey four to six pages it would lock up the computer. At that time I did not think the WWW was going to get any better than what it was.
