Solved Compooter won't go to Sleep :(

I've only just noticed... Since my fresh install of Vista x64, it won't go to sleep anymore. I've tried the Fn shortcut, and clicking Sleep from the Start Menu.

When I try to put it to sleep, the screen fades to black (as usual) then after a while, it pops back on to my logon/unlock screen (I have it set to require a password after resuming). It's as though the computer goes to sleep for no time at all, then wakes up almost instantly.

It might be something to do with the one missing driver that I can't seem to get hold of (Toshiba don't do x64 for my computer :(), the "Firmware Linkage Driver" or something.

Any ideas, anyone?

Hibernation is disabled, but it was disbled on my old system, too. Hibernation is different from Sleep mode.

When I enter into sleep mode, the only trace of if in the Event Viewer is the following entry in the 'System' view.

Event ID 59, "The system is entering away mode".

Update:

After running
Code: 
powercfg -DEVICEQUERY wake_armed
it shows that I have no devices that wake the computer.

Running a
Code: 
powercfg -lastwake
says that my computer has been woken up 0 times. Therefore, it is not actually reaching the Sleep state.

OK it's fixed!

I feel such a dip. It was under Advanced Power Settings. In the Multimedia section, I had it set up to prevent sleeping when sharing media! With this set to "Allow Sleep", everything sleeps fine.

Thanks, but I had just forgotten that I'd changed that setting in my Power Options. I also have a missing driver, so I was slightly worried that it was that causing the problem.

The Tutorials section is pretty good, though - spent a bit of time in their yesterday :P
