When restarting to complete today's Windows Update I got the message that "Capturing Window is preventing Shut Down" and I believe it referenced "amd ccc aem." My computer did shut down a few moments later. If memory serves, I've seen this message before in restarting for Updates. I restarted a day ago and received no message.
I've done some Googling but can't seem to get a good description of this issue. Seems it's related to my ATI graphics card/Catalyst Control Center, with some claiming it slows their PC's performance, and that the issue/source can be disabled.
So what's a Capturing Window, why am I getting this message, is the issue affecting my computer, what should I do?
Thanks, and if this post should be in another category please move it.
