cant uninstall game

As long as you Back up your registry before cleaning, (when prompted), there wont be a problem.
CCleaner is as good as it gets for registry cleaners. (IMO).

Right,i've downloaded Microsoft DirectX 10 -now where is it? Have tried looking through files but cant see anything obvious.
Is there a specific file i need to find it in.Would it be titled under a different name?

The download was simple,it said completed-how do i know i have it now?

Also,it did NOT help make Star Defender play:(

What folder do you download to. when did you download it. You can search the folder for the date directx will be named differently

download just says "do you want to run this" and only choice is yes.
no options to save or put it anywhere-not that id know how to do that anyway.

Have just looked for the date i downloaded it ie 30 minutes ago and have found it.
i moved it to desktop.
Now what? I dont want to touch it til i know what to do-i assume i just open it?

Just double click on it to run and if there are any error messages write them down

I double clicked on directx icon-a window came up with a list of numbers eg 1.0.2902 all the way to 11. to the right it says File Folder

Thats it. Is that all there is to it?
