cant not turn back on window defender

i don't know what happen but i just notice that my window defender is turned off and cant not turn it back on even if i click on the screen that telling to click on to turn it back .all i get is window defender is not responding .
now you really need it .

here is the answer for every one .
if you are using [microsoft security essensials ] it will desable [window defender] .
so if some of are try to turn on window defender it will not turn back on if you are using security essensials .

No way around. The MsMpEng.exe is the same for Defender and MSE. Cannot have your cake and eat it - LOL.

Yes, you are correct, MSE was made especially for Windows. The function of Defender is included in MSE so it is no longer necessary. Making MSE the A/V of choice of many of our members.
