cant connect to internet need Help.

hy there i just did a full mainboard upgrade p31 neo MSI v2 and since i connected it and booted pc. i cant get internet for some reason. i called verizon, netlink ect.. and they tried to guide me through to fix internet connect. but nothing worked did went to command prompt ping yahooo.com and i get this error 1232 and displays 4 packets sent 0 received 4 total loss. sfc /scannow and displayed 99% success bought a separate ethernet card new.still no sucess. the lan icon keeps on switching from no conn. to limited. to unpluged to enabled to unpluged its outa control. i tried everything to flush dsn i need help. what can be the problem the mainnboard is refurbished and also i have a laptop wireless and it connects to my router modem all in one. the desttop is the culprit.
