On my 32bit laptop I am currently running an ATI system. If I were or can I download Navida and replace it over ATI?

Welcome to this forum.

To install nvdia you need nvdia hardware display adapter..

If you are using desktop you can buy and use the nvdia graphics adapter.

But you are using laptop i dont thing u can use nvdia. Because we cannot add external graphics adapter to laptop.
