And here is the DMP file associated with it.

I am still working on everyone elses reccomendations and will post again in just a bit.

dk70 - I updated my bios about 3 days ago from gigabytes @BIOS flash utility. I also updated my video and audio drivers as well through thier manufacturer web sites. The monitor is unlike the rest of the computer in that it is an ancient crt monitor and has no drivers that I have ever been able to find. My widescreen lcd monitor just stopped working last year so I started using this one until I can covince my wife that we need another widescreen one :)

lordbob75 - war is the only time I have experienced this problem other than a few meinutes ago when I ran prime95 for dk70. Crysis runs like a champ and never crashes and never locks up. I have also updated my video and audio drivers just a couple days ago and then again this morning when I started reading the replies in this thread from yesterday. Additionally the game doesnt run from a disc. I installed from the disc and then put them away. the game has its own executable that runs from within the installed directory. Sorry for the title as well, I wasn't sure what else to name it, as im not very literate on these types of things. Will try and make a better title should I ever have issues like this again in the future.

H2SO4 - I have very limited experience in dealing with regedit, the only thing I ever do in there is delete ATI keys when uninstalling my video drivers. I tried creating your keys but couldnt get it right so I just stopped to avoid messing anything up. When I navigate to "Memory Managment" and right click it to create "PoolTag" I am not given an option to make "Data0x2a" so I just tried creating "PoolTag" then editing it but it wouldnt let me enter the "x" part in data for "0x2A" so I just deleted it and stopped. I remember back when I used XP Pro i had a registry problem once and someone gave me a regedit file that i just double clicked on and it made the changes automatically. Is anything like that possible here?

Lordbob75 - I uninstalled avg completly to avoid seeing it in the dmp files anymore. Windows doesn't like not having virus protection and is harassing me about it, but I can deal with it while we work with this problem :)

Prime95 BSOD.

What are your specs? What kind of RAM? What is it set to? What is your CPU? Do you over clock your CPU or video card.

Heh, I know old 50. Believe that is an oldie for too optimistic overclocking, too little voltage or wrong timing for memory. Or sometimes build-in "compatibilty problems" solved by bios upgrade - if lucky... Alternative can be running memory at lower speed. A module could be bad of course. You should test them 1 by 1 but not before you are 100% sure timings/voltage is correct.

If P95 crashes after only 10 min computer is not stable at all but does not mean it wont boot, works ok besides Warhammer you say. Like I said with the old Unreal, some tasks just trigger errors more than others. You can probably open 20 notepads with no problems.

I would update bios to latest version and make sure timings and voltage are as they should be. Check forum at motherboard and memory site. For now I think once that is solved, even by taken out a module, you have fixed most other problems. Warhammer mess you see now but there will be more, matter of time.

Could still be AVG or whatever but smells so much of ram vs. motherboard/bios problem. Even more so because of "I recently built a new pc" you see such problems right away, cant avoid :)

Well the latest stop code (50) points to (most likely) bad RAM, though that also means it could be bad VIDEO RAM.

So it looks like the video card could be faulty. It is odd you are only getting it on that game and Prime95....

I do not overclock my cpu or my ram. I prefer longevity over increased speeds. I did not set anything up for both my cpu and ram in the bios when I built this machine. After putting it all together everything already worked fine so I didnt think it needed any tweeking?

If needed i can link all those pc parts to newegg since i save my order forms when i purchase.

1.) Power supply is too small for your video card
2.) Memory voltage too low or too high
3.) Memory FSB is not matched to your CPU FSB properly

3.) Memory FSB is not matched to your CPU FSB properly

This is the only thing I dont know where to look to check?

That would probably explain the errors, but not why they didn't appear on Crysis...

Power supply too weak? I would not think so. Could also be a problem though. If anything is wrong it is that little 1280x1024 monitor. Should get bigger.

Yeah even Newegg list specs, voltage needed (dif. profiles/settings for ram it seems). Make sure it fits/is picked up correctly by bios - and find out what bios version you have. Gigabyte have made 1 upgrade fixing "memory" problems. You can probably tell bios to use SPD/Auto but that is not foolproof. EPP is more correct since tweaks from maker is used, especially about voltage - like more than default/SPD is needed. How I understand EPP anyway - manually punching in numbers always works...

Hmm missed that about Crysis. Is stable? Strange. Well as long as P95 crashes it dont matter, computer is not stable.

Max. Power Output: 650W
+3.3V and +5V total power cannot exceed 160W.
+3.3V,+5V , +12V
1,+12V2 & +12V3 total power cannot exceed 631.5W.

+12V
1,+12V2 & +12V3 total power cannot exceed 540W

This is more important that the regular specs.

All three 12V rails can do 540W or 45A total across all three rails.

However,
3.3V + 5V <=160W

631.5W - 160W= 471.5W on the three 12V rails. less than 40A @ 12V total.

Your CPU uses 7-8A @ 12V
Hard drive use 1-2A @ 12V

It is probably OK.

I would check to make sure your RAM FSB and CPU FSB are set right along with RAM voltage. Many boards can't set the RAM voltage properly. They are usually 1.5V. Some RAM requires 1.65V and the 1.5V board voltage can cause problems. Check your voltage specs and motherboard setting.

Not sure how this happened because i remember everything already being on standard settings in the bios, when I built this, but my bios offers an option to set extreme profile for the cpu and it was set on that and my memory voltage was set to 1.5v so I changed it to 1.6v as the manufacturer reccomends.

Going to play for an hour or so and see if it fixes my problem.

Cpu-Z from CPUID should list EPP under "SPD" TAB. Does that fit what is listed under "Memory" tab which is current settings? SPD can be all wrong sometimes. If memory have more than 1 set of defaults may be cpu-z gets confused as well, can only read one. But anyway, you can use it to check with.

I looked up that power supply Antec - EA 650 seems mighty hefty to me, close to overkill really :)

Are you using DDR3 or DDR2 RAM? Your CPU is 1600 FSB. If DDR2 RAM, RAM should be DDR800.

Problem fixed fellas. I want to thank everyone here who has taken time to post and help me through this. I pulled my sons ram from his pc and when i went to put it in this pc i realised something... Im a idiot :)

On my motherboard I have 4 ram slots, 3 are green and 1 is yellow and I had my 3 sticks of triple channel memory in 2 of the green and 1 of the yellow slots. thinking that might be a bit odd I checked my manual and found... in fact it is. Per the manual when using matched 3 stick pairs of triple channel memory you are supposed to put all three in the three green slots and none in the yellow slots. I swapped it around fired up warhammer and played for five hours straight now with no crashes and no lockups. i have never went more than an an hour and a half without a crash or lock up. I have prime 95 running right now and it has been going for almost 30 minutes with no problems as well.

Again thanks for everyones help, without you all's direction to get me looking at the ram I never would have found this.

Heh, alarms should go off when someone has weird problems and "recently build" Everything can be wrong :)

Well you should still use latest drivers, find a gigabyte forum and check up on bios issues, set it up properly and do testing. Let Memtest86 chew on sticks over night, will take some time getting through all 8gb with some passes.

Often a simpel Google search using mobo model name and right keywords is enough, like "EX58-UD3R +bios", possibly add bios version. No need to research as such. Sometimes you can save much time and do things more safely by reading up a bit - like when upgrading bios. Good idea to know why you do it, how is not a question. Will say in manual. Take advantage of other peoples experiences and let them be guinea pigs ;)
