Hello All,
Over the last 2 days I have been trying to install a new graphics card, PNY nvidia GeForce GT 430 on my HP Pavilion Elite m9515y Desktop PC. I removed the previous graphics card (nvidia GeForce 9600 GS) uninstalled the nvidia drivers and ran Driver Sweeper to clean up anything that was remaining. I shut off my anti-virus, selected Windows to ask before updating drivers and to ask before downloading and installing updates. I also visited the nvidia website and downloaded the latest driver 285.62 to my desktop.
Unfortunately, upon installing the GT 430 card I am now envcountering 100% of the time the BSoD shortly after booting up or during driver installation process (both with the installation disk and with the driver I downloaded. This happens both in normal and safe mode.
I have received a number of different messages on the blue screen such as: Page_Fault_IN_NONPAGED_AREA, MEMORY_MANAGEMENT, THE_DRIVER_IS_MISMANAGING_SYSTEM_PTES, etc.
All returns to normal when I put the original card back in. I have attached the requested BSoD dump and system info as well as the system health report (buow-vista.html).
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
