Okay well I think I'll update my computer first of all, the lack of updates are probably dragging down my computer, also if the Service Pack 1/2 is not installed could that cause any fatal problems with the computer?

Good call.
But before that just try the sfc and lets see what it shows. Do 3 times if errors are found.
If no errors we do the updates.

sfc /verifyonly or sfc /scannow? and how long will either take?

scan now. That fixes errors if it can. Should take about 15-20 minutes for each scan. If no errors you are done. If errors, run another 3 times.

Okay I will do that, also it's telling me: "There is a system repair pending which requires reboot to complete. Restart windows and run sfc again." So after I reboot I will run sfc and get back to you. Thanks for helping me so much by the way. :D

So after the sfc if there are no errors what's the next option?

If no errors start with the updates. A few at a time. Do not have the computer install, set updater to nofiy and you install 2 or 3 at at time.

It means that the OS has no corruption.
YOu can begin to load the drivers, a few at a time (about 3). Make sure its working OK, then load a few more.

Okay, downloading the last of the updates, also MSE found a virus I'll post the information while I remove it from my PC, so that you can decide what to make of it.
