Alternate colored slots. If dual channel slot 1 and 3 are best.
If this gets us nowhere we will try other tests, we will get this done.

And yes, its Dual Channel Ram. So I'm running with two sticks, in slots 1 & 3...will see how this goes

In my earlier post, I gave you a link that indicated Memtest can give a false negative. I know for a fact the probability of such an error increases with dual channel.

Ok, well I ran with 2 sticks. Warcraft doesn't like this lol. Anyway, I kept getting an error that Blizzard.net uploader had stopped working...i can minimize it and continue using my comp. WHen I go to shut down computer....these errors are still minimized. I think WIndows attempts to close the error windows but that produces the BSOD. I tried this with only 2 sticks...and when it happened i swapped sticks and it happened again. So not sure where to go from there..but both sets of sticks produce the same results

Did u want me to run Memtest with only two sticks? Sorry I didn't pick up on that..I can do that if that's what u want!

We have to be sure of the results of each test. If we pass when we should not, we will never solve the problem
You run the computer will all sticks for 8 passes.
Then run with one stick for 6 passes
Then run with the other stick for 6 passes and so on.
Then we will be sure and can move on.

Yes and, one fail, you failed
