Bluescreen problem

I think I placed my thread in a wrong place, so apologies moderators and admin.

Uhm, for the past few days my laptop is having a problem... It just freezes (black screen) and restarts on its own.

It sometimes prompt me to repair via placing windows vista disk, but this fails to repair the problem. Also, I tried doing restoring to previous restore point, but to no avail didn't fix the problem.

I had a problem with this one before, what I did is to reformat the whole thing, but I was wondering if there's a way to actually fix the problem without resorting to reformat?

why dont u upload the ddump files.It will be stored in C:\Windows\Minidump
