Alright Raider, the problem seems to focus on your video driver. Try reinstalling it, or try an older version of it.

Download Driver Sweeper (A quick Google search will find it), and uninstall your current video drivers.

Boot in to safe mode and run driver sweeper to clear Nvidia drivers then reboot your computer again in to safe mode.

Reinstall your video drivers and reboot your PC and let us know if the blue screens continue.

so how do i go about installing the video card drivers in safe mode? do i access them from nvidia's website and download directly from them? just incase my video card is the 9800 GT 512MB.... if i keep getting these problems, is there another nvidia card out there that has less or no issues? or is the issue stricktly to vista 64x?

The problem here is not the card. Its the drivers.
Go to the NVidia website, and download the latest drivers for your card. Then restart your computer, and press F8 before the OS starts loading. This will bring up Safe Mode. This works just like regular mode, only "Safe". Resolution will be lower and stuff. Then go and install the new drivers (after deleting the old ones and suggested by Everlong18 above). Then restart into normal mode, and you should be set.

ok, great!! thank you!! so let me get this straight.. all i need to do is go to nvidia, download the driver for my video card but DO NOT install it. after download, restart cp to safe mode and then remove all video card drivers and install the new driver that i just downloaded. after that reboot to normal and i should be set..... is that right?

secondly, i did not go into safe mode earlier when i tried to install the new drivers and vista informed me with an info box that the driver did not install correctly and vista could fix it.....so i clicked on the "let vista install with the correct parameters"... have you seen that? will i get the same response in safe mode? it is almost like the vista refused to do what the driver wanted. any thoughts?

Yup!

I have gotten that error before, but I usually ignore it because I canceled the installation. In this case, you probably should just ignore it, because Vista is usually wrong.
