And while you're at it you will need a new copy of Windows, as your Acer provided one won't work/activate with a new motherboard.
As far as the bios goes, AMI/Award/etc have nothing to do with the bios once it is added to a motherboard, that all comes down to the computer or motherboard manufacturer. In your case if you tried to use the bios for a retail motherboard you would be lucky if the board would even post afterward, to say nothing of the fact that Windows would no longer be activated.
