My system wouldnt come out of standby or re-boot. I switched it from graphics card to on board graphics and then it was working. Ive been having complicated issues with this PC, but thats another story.

my question now is, after getting graphics and re-booting, the BIOS always defaults to this screen on POST.

....warning-system boot fail....
your system last boot fail or POST interrupted. Please enter setup to load defaults and reboot again. Press F1 to continue or DEL to enter setup.

Ok, fine, so i enter setup several times, loaded defaults and rebooted, I even re-flashed the BIOS, yet this screen still comes up during POST and will not boot into windows without me pressing F1.

Anyway to get rid of this annoyance?

Might have to clear CMOS. This will reset everthing back to default. to do this remove the cmos (button) battery with the computer unplugged for 30 secs.

hope this helps
