haven't had chance to get to grips with powershell yet but I think it may be able to do what you want

You can make them balloons in Visual Basic, and it's a hindsight easier than C++! :p

Though yea, I'd think Barman has the best suggestion.

I learnt C programming last year at College, and as interesting as it was, it was a pain to learn. Doing Visual Basic this year and it makes much more sense.
