Solved AVS Audio Converter

I have now totally uninstalled the suite;
i deleted the AVS4YOU folder in program files
i then ran CCleaner, and deleted EVERYTHING it flagged up about the registry or applications and it now says there is no unnecessary objects on my computer, whether in applications or registry.
i then rebooted and went into regedit.
entries still appear to be there for AVS

any ideas...?
or should i just re-install the suite and see if the problem is resolved

No problem, glad that I could help, people should be rewarded by the feeling of being able to have helped someone, not rep :)

Perhaps you can help me out? I'm looking to convert all 8000 songs of my music library to mp3 to put on my xbox but the software that I have tried so far doesn't keep the id3 tags (album name, artist etc.). Does AVS keep all of these details like you said? And can it do batch conversions?

Thanks :)

Tom

I sure can.

I convert using AVS from iTunes to mp3 to put on my phone. It keeps all the tags and the album art and you can even edit them before conversion. I am really pleased with all their software, theres loads of options for audio conversion and it is really well priced, and worth it for the unlimited subscription as you get all the updates and new releases.

and it does a decent selection of formats and the useful "import from video button"...

Also, for tag editing, I recommend mp3tag

Hope that helps
